Emile Bernhardt : Director Of Sport
Emile has spent the last 12 months on the idylic South-Pacific island of Fiji, where has managed the golf operations for the owner of the Red Bull energy drink company.
Prior to joining MWG, Emile spent time at The Clarens Golf & Trout Estate, Oubaai and Fancourt.
Emile has a degree in Sports Management & Marketing. He is also a qualified Class A PGA Professional.
Interesting Fact: He is a qualified Professional Hunter and an ex-provincial tennis player.

Wynand van Vuuren : Food & Beverage Manager
Wynand is the newest member of the ICC Management team and has joined ICC with a strong background in Food & Beverage Management. Wynand is also the proud owner of Gorgeous Restaurant, which has recently relocated to Irene Country Club.
We look forward to the exciting functions, events and daily hospitality which Wynand and his team will provide to all members and visiting guests.

Megan Spencer : Finance & Administration Manager
Megan has been at Irene Country Club for two years. She has promoted herself through the ranks and is proud to be appointed as Finance & Administration Manager.
We are sure that all members will miss dealing with her as their Membership Secretary but trust they will be happy to have her managing the club’s funds.

CAREL BUITENDACH : Club Superintendant
Carel joins Irene after six years at Woodhill Country Club. He has a degree in Turf Grass Management and has a true passion for maintaining sports facilities.
Carel will be responsibile for overseeing the maintenance of all sporting facilities as well as the gardens of Irene Country Club.
Interesting Fact: Carel enjoys spending his time off doing motocross off-road biking.
