Tennis News
The Irene Country Club is unique. We are privileged to have one of the most beautiful and tranquil settings in Pretoria. The club has 6 courts (3 under lights) and outstanding facilities (restaurant, halfway house, change rooms and conference facilities).
We are highly competitive and actively participate in various levels of league. Our overriding focus, however, is on family-oriented fun and friendship.
Events on our calendar include:
- Wimbledon day (played in the winter on the cricket field to coincide with the real event),
- Club challenge competition (including round robins),
- Parent child day with a huge bonfire afterwards,
- the various leagues, and of course
- club championships.
